TO WHOM I PRECEDE:
Do not stay here. It is not safe.
Know that I did what was possible, to keep them at bay.
You never let me witness your disappointment, Helena. Not until after you were gone did I see it written clearly on the length of our lives.
Know that I am a man who came before you. But no man can fight the tide of despair, not alone, and no man ever will. Keep those you love close. Keep them in your heart.
And listen, when the crows speak to you in the wind.
